The Silk Road Festival is more than a music event. It represents cross-cultural collaboration connecting artists, audiences, and changemakers.

Diversity and inclusion: Silk Road festival brings together artists and creatives  from  different  cultures  and  backgrounds to create a multi-genre, socially conscious performing arts festival

A festival with purpose . Silk Road and our artists partner meaningfully with local charities on projects that champion social and environmental causes relevant to the region.

Multidisciplinary  – our events integrating music, dance, visual arts and conscious fashion

Education and empowerment – Discussions and workshops with changemakers and leaders in their field

Crossing borders – After  spearheading  in  Barbados,  Silk  Road  will travel  across  the  Caribbean  to  East  Africa, West Africa, South Asia, connecting artists and change makers globally.

After spearheading in Barbados, Silk Road will travel across the Caribbean to East Africa, West Africa, South Asia, connecting artists and change makers globally. We are hosting a series of launch nights to mark this occations

Silk Road music acts & DJs

Featuring a diverse array of Bajan and regional talent – bands, artists, DJs & dancers performing musical styles including Reggae, Soca, Jazz, Funk, NeoSoul, Pop, Rock, Afrobeats, Latin & World Music.

Arts, Dance & Fashion

Showcasing Caribbean artists and fashion designers from the region. Silk Road will feature art exhibits, dance & drumming performances

Education & Empowerment

Discussions and workshops with changemakersand leaders in their field on social and environmental causes ranging from women and girlsempowerment; LGBTQ+ rights; climate conservation; supporting youth through music & the creative arts
